At the heart of functional medicine we dig for the root cause of your health issues, rather than simply treating a symptom. Our program offers a more in-depth look at your health history, nutritional status and current concerns by offering you more time, more attention, and more access to your provider on a regular basis.
We understand that there are limitations within conventional medicine and our providers go beyond the standard of care by staying up to date with current research and thinking outside of the conventional box. Although the views of conventional and functional medicine don’t always align, we challenge ourselves to balance the two worlds for optimal care of our patients and feel it’s so important to always be searching for the “why” regarding development of illness.

You will meet in the office during the first visit to establish care. Follow-up visits may be in-person, via phone, or online for ultimate convenience to you. We also offer an introductory consult to discuss how functional medicine might assist in your health journey.
During the initial 90-minute consultation we discuss your goals and concerns including:

- Review all past medical history; labs, imaging, and other diagnostics from previous providers
- Review in detail all intake forms (intake questionnaire, medical symptoms questionnaire, lifestyle and nutrition journal, and others as indicated)
- Clarify your health and lifestyle goals
- Initiate testing and further evaluation as needed
- Schedule follow-up

During follow up sessions, we will:

- Formulate a comprehensive treatment plan for optimum wellness
- Review additional lifestyle journals, questionnaires, and testing results
- Counsel on nutrition and provide meals plans complete with recipes
- Make recommendations for supplements and botanicals to support healthy lifestyle changes
- Update treatment plan as you progress towards wellness
- You will be provided with a binder to organize and track all assessments, handouts, lifestyle prescriptions, and meal plans
- Members additionally have access to up to three email support sessions per month
- Schedule appropriate follow-up

Pricing
We offer several options to make functional medicine practical and affordable. These include individual visits on a pay as you go basis or discounted subscriptions. We encourage follow up evaluations with us as this allows for continuity of care and accountability so that you can better achieve your health and nutrition goals!
Introductory Consult
If you are not sure if functional medicine is a good fit for you we are happy to discuss how the functional medicine approach might address your concerns. The introductory consult will be over the phone or online but does not establish a provider-patient relationship. If you decide to proceed with an office visit, the introductory consult fee will be applied to your 1st visit.
