This now our third year and growing, we invite you to Low Carb Breckenridge 2018, located in the beautiful Colorado Rocky Mountains. We have added a fresh line-up of speakers and interesting topics. #LowCarbBreck #LCB18

The conference is open to all including the general public, health, nutrition and fitness enthusiasts, the scientific community and healthcare professionals.

For healthcare professionals this Live activity, Low Carb Breckenridge 2018, with a beginning date of 03/02/2018, has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 18.00 Prescribed credit(s) by the American Academy of Family Physicians. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)™ toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed, not as Category 1.

The meeting kicks off at 5pm on Thursday evening with registration and welcome drinks at the hotel, so plan accordingly. Whether you’re a skier, snowboarder or not, consider staying a few extra days to enjoy the mountain and lovely town of Breckenridge. If you’re planning an extended stay it’s best to arrive a few days early during conference week to take advantage of the group rate discount at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel (see below).

The Doubletree by Hilton Hotel will be hosting this event and providing us with a large and spacious conference room, plenty of space for vendors and mingling and yes, even an oxygen bar for those who might need a little help acclimating to the altitude. Coffee, tea and water will be provided plus plenty of vendor food samples. The hotel has two restaurants, 9600 Kitchen and Made Market. There are plenty of other dining options and grocery stores nearby. $20/day parking is available across the street from the hotel at the Beaver Run Ski Lot. Here is a map of the conference room area.

We have a group discount for standard hotel rooms (see below) at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel and conference center. Multi-room condos are available at the adjacent Beaver Run Resort at their standard rates. There is a wide range of accommodation available around the area including budget friendly options in Frisco (see below), approx. 20 minutes away by car or bus. We have also been able to arrange discount ski lift tickets, rentals and shuttle from Denver International Airport.

An international destination, Breckenridge is a Colorado town at the base of the Rocky Mountains’ Tenmile Range. It’s known for its ski resort, year-round alpine activities and Gold Rush history. The Victorian core of this former mining town is preserved as the Breckenridge National Historic District, running primarily along Main Street, with colorfully painted buildings from the 1880s and 1890s housing shops, galleries and restaurants.
